Hortenzia Confectionery in Šamorín is a Kingdom of Sweets.

Upon entering Hortenzia, the first thing you notice is the fully stocked refrigerator. Choosing is difficult, as the treats are not only beautiful but also irresistibly delicious. The menu includes both traditional flavors and special creations.
The confectionery offers popular local and international sweets while also working with its own unique recipes. They prioritize variety and regularly introduce new flavors. Among the guests’ favorites are punch slices, doughnuts, Pavlova cakes and roulades, as well as pistachio slices. Additionally, Somlói, “laskonky,” and semolina cubes are also unique specialties.
At Hortenzia, the magic is not just in the pastries but also in the ambiance. The hydrangea flower, after which the confectionery is named, can be found in several decorative elements. The tasteful interior and harmonious color scheme create the feeling of being inside a fairy-tale house of sweets.
