The church of the Reformed Christian Church is the oldest monument in the town of Veľký Meder. It was built in 1785, without a tower; the church tower was added in 1801. It is one of the most significant historical monuments in the town. On its outer wall, there is a commemorative plaque in honor of the translator of the Bible, an important figure in the Reformed Church, György Besnyei.
