The Roman Catholic Church of St. Michael the Archangel was built at the end of the 17th century. Originally a single-nave Baroque structure with a polygonal apse, it was destroyed at the beginning of the 18th century. It was restored in 1712, and in 1823, its facade underwent a Neoclassical renovation. The original murals from the second half of the 18th century were repainted at the end of the 19th century and subsequently in 1930. The interior features a Prussian vault (sail vault). The main altar, with its central painting of St. Michael the Archangel, dates from the second half of the 18th century, as do both Baroque-style side altars—dedicated to St. Anne and St. Bernard. The pulpit and the pews date back to the period of the church’s renovation. The ceiling features paintings of various Christian scenes, such as the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, and a relief of the Archangel Michael set against a painted background of the church and praying faithful. The facades are articulated by pilaster strips and semi-circular windows with profiled surrounds. The lower part of the tower is framed by corner rustication (quoins), while the upper part features pilasters. It is topped by a masonry pyramidal helm.
