St. Joseph’s Chapel is one of Komárno’s most important Late Baroque monuments. It was founded in 1741 by Baron Adam Zichy as the chapel of the former town hospital and is considered the town’s first civic chapel. Its richly decorated interior, Late Baroque high altar and elaborate stucco decoration are of outstanding artistic value. The chapel was remodelled in the Neoclassical style in the early 19th century, and its façade was restored in 2016.
