The current building of the church was constructed on an older foundation in 1678. It was modified in the first half of the 19th century and rebuilt in 1936–1937 into its present form. The church is a single-nave building with a straight-ended presbytery.
The presbytery of the original church, which after the 1937 reconstruction became a side chapel oriented to the east, is polygonal, with a barrel vault with lunettes and a single field of ribbed cross vaulting. The new nave, built perpendicular to the original structure, has a coffered ceiling. On the western side of the church, the projecting tower is articulated with pilasters and corner rustication, and is topped with a pyramidal spire. The interior furnishings of the church date from the time of the new construction. The altar of the original presbytery (now the side chapel) is Classical in style, featuring a painting of St. Ladislaus from the second half of the 18th century.
