Until 1984, one of the village’s inseparable landmarks was the Roman Catholic Gothic Church of Saint Martin, built in the first half of the 13th century and rebuilt in Baroque style in 1770. In 1854, the church burned down along with the entire village. Only the presbytery (the area around the main altar) was preserved. Today, the Chapel of Saint Martin stands on its site.
