On 2 November 2018, the Day of Mourning of the City of Dunajská Streda, the monument dedicated to the heroes of the First and Second World Wars was unveiled and blessed. The memorial, which bears the names of 224 soldiers, is the work of Ferenc Lebó, a renowned Hungarian sculptor and medal artist well known in this region.
