The Roman Catholic Church of St. Bartholomew is a single-nave Classical-style building with a rectangular-ended presbytery and a tower integrated into its mass, built between 1819 and 1820. It stands on the site of an earlier church. The donor of the present church was the nobleman Juraj Bartal.

The interior is covered with a Prussian vault. The main altar is Neo-Classical, featuring a suspended painting of the Crucifixion from the late 19th century. The side altar of the Pietà is Classical from the first half of the 19th century, while the second side altar dedicated to St. Stephen, with a painting depicting the Offering of the Hungarian Crown, dates from 1870. The pulpit and baptismal font are Classical in style and date from the time of the church’s construction.

The façades are articulated by paired pilasters and semicircular windows with molded surrounds and keystones. The tower rises from the front façade in the form of a projecting risalit. The façade is flanked by a pair of niches and crowned with decorative vases. The tower is divided by pilaster frames and string courses and is topped with a cornice featuring a clock medallion and a Baroque spire.
