The prayer room of the Jewish congregation is located in the former Talmud Torah building on what is now Bacsáková Street.
In the past, the city had two synagogues. The Orthodox Great Synagogue stood on the main street, while the Orthodox Aszád Jiszráel Synagogue was located on Nemesszeg Street. Both buildings were demolished after the Second World War.
