To the north of the village of Malinovo, where the Malinovský branch flows off the Little Danube, lies a recreational area called Zelená oáza (Green oasis). On the riverside meadow, separated from the neighbouring fields by trees, there is a wooden shelter and several wooden play structures for children. The site also serves as a stop for canoeists. In the immediate vicinity, as part of the ‘Na dobrej stope’ nature trail, wooden structures have been built to offer an unusual perspective on the nature of the Little Danube: the ‘Tree Nest’ viewing platform, 7 metres above the ground, with a footbridge over the wetland beneath it; and, on the left-hand side at the start of the Malinovský branch, ‘Beaver Castle’ nestled within a poplar grove.
This easy route offers a leisurely walk around the Little Danube, suitable for all ages. The trail is 3 km long and can be walked in 1.5 hours.
