The cycling tour from Komárno to Dunajská Streda was inspired by the usual route of actor Tomáš Gál, who has received the Dosky and Jászai Mari awards and is the director of the Jókai Theater (Komárno). If you want to test how much strength the actor has, hop on your bike and take this route. In addition to the physical challenge, you can enjoy the attractions of Kolárovo, Komárno, and Dunajská Streda.

The watermill in Kolárovo, built in 1983, now operates as a mill museum. The museum is accessible via the longest covered wooden bridge in Europe. Close to the mill, visitors can find a zoo featuring domestic animals.
The cycling path in the village connects it to the town of Dunajská Streda via Trhová Hradská and Ohrady. At the boundary of the village of Topoľníky, there is a confluence (where the Klátovské arm and the Little Danube meet), which is part of the Little Danube Nature Reserve, offering visitors an unforgettable experience. The thermal spa located in close proximity to this area welcomes visitors every year from May to September.
Another stop on the cycling tour is the village of Žitný ostrrov, which was also visited by Lajos Kossuth during his recruitment journey in the revolutionary year of 1848. Since Trhová Hradská is located on the banks of the Little Danube and the Klátovské arm, it provides a perfect place to rest from the fatigue of cycling, where we can decide how to continue in the embrace of nature. We recommend that participants visit the stretch of the river that locals call "Lábi Lake," where they enjoy spending their leisure time.
The village of Ohady is one of the few villages on Žitný ostrov, with its likely origins dating back to the period of Hungarian conquests. The boundary of the village is intersected by the arm of the Little Danube (Klátovské arm), along which there is a beautiful view. The village offers a good place for a short break to recharge and refresh with food and drink so that you can continue your bike ride with renewed energy.
Malé Dvorníky is a village where participants of the tour arrive via the village of Veľké Dvorníky; it is the last stop before the destination in Dunajská Streda. The history of the village dates back to the 7th century, and archaeological research has uncovered Avar and Celtic artifacts (currently displayed in the Žitný Island Museum in Dunajská Streda). On the hill near the church, there is also a Lourdes cave with a statue of Bernadette, where the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared in the town of Lourdes in France.
The last stop on the tour is Dunajská Streda, famous for its thermal baths and football team, which awaits visitors with a variety of tourist attractions, such as St. George's Church, the Žitný ostrov Museum, and Vermes Villa. In addition to historical sights, the city also offers great opportunities for leisure and entertainment, as well as numerous excellent restaurants and cafes. Dunajská Streda is located in the heart of Žitný Island and is a popular tourist destination, so those who wish to spend the night in the city can choose from various accommodations.
