The village church is now a Reformed church. It was originally Catholic. It was built in early Gothic style. According to some sources, the Evangelical Church was established here as early as the 2nd century of the Reformation, but according to authentic records, the Reformed Church of Cilizradvany was established around the 1650s and the church became Reformed at that time. The building has been damaged by fire several times, as in 1644, 1863 and most recently in 1907, when the roof of the church burned and collapsed in a great fire. The last renovation was carried out in 1989 with the help of members of the congregation.
