The church was built in 1816 by converting the old school building and immediately impresses with its Classical style and elegance. The single-nave structure with a rectangular chancel and projecting tower is the work of skilled local craftsmen. The façades are adorned with pilasters and semicircular windows with quoining, while the tower features corner gables, pilaster detailing, a cornice with a small shield, and a pointed spire, giving the building a majestic appearance.
Inside, the church has a flat ceiling, creating a sense of spaciousness and calm. The simplicity of the interior enhances the spiritual atmosphere and invites reflection. It is a place where the faithful gather and where the spiritual life of the village is centered.
The Reformed Christian Church in Horná Potôň is not only an architectural pride of the village but also a symbol of its history and spiritual heritage. It is a place worth visiting and admiring.
