Imre Makovecz was a Hungarian master of organic architecture. On the main street of Dunajská Streda we can find one of the most striking buildings of the
Dunajská Streda skyline, the Town Hall, which was built in 1901. After several renovations, a tower was built over the entrance of the building as part of the transformation of the city’s skyline by Imre Makovecz, which began in 1995.
