Baloň’s Roman Catholic church, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, was built in 1835 on the site of a thatched chapel consecrated in 1788. It was renovated in the early 1990s. The polygonal presbytery is covered with a Czech glass vault and the nave with a poros glass vault. A red marble plaque was placed above the entrance when it was built. Most of the decoration is 19th century, the oldest piece being an 18th century statue of the Madonna.
