In 1921, the Roman Catholic Youth Association erected the Heroes’ Monument in honor of the victims of World War I. In the 1960s, a list of fallen heroes from World War II was added to the monument.
The monument is located next to the Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady of the Rosary.
