Opposite the Reformed Church, in a small park, we find the statue of a pelican feeding its chicks, erected by the Slovak Reformed Christian Church to commemorate the ‘2,000th birthday of Christ, the 1,000th birthday of constitutional Hungarian Christianity, and the 325th anniversary of the liberation of the galley preachers.
