The local history house in Šamorín, which was founded in 1976 and is now part of the external exposition of the Žitnoostrovské Museum. On an exhibition area of approximately 500 square metres, it presents the traditions of Šamorín, tools for common crafts in the town, documents relating to the medieval history of the town, an ethnographic collection of the Upper Rye Island, carriages, wagons, sleighs, agricultural tools, old household equipment, tools for hemp processing and gold panning, fishing tools and working tools used in agriculture.
