The Orthodox Jewish cemetery, existing since the 1740s, is the oldest cemetery in the city to have survived intact (the others were destroyed in the early 1960s). Among the well-maintained graves, the tombs of several local rabbis can be found, including that of the renowned Rabbi Jehuda Aszád.
