Do you long for a cycling tour that is not just about monotonous pedaling and a speedometer, but is rich in attractions? We have designed this tour for you, as the route passes through cities, villages, and forests, allowing you to see castles, churches, ancient ruins, and enjoy the nature of Szigetköz and the Danube. If you don’t believe that this immense number of attractions can fit into one route, start your bike and try our tour.

The center of the “Millennial Moson County” offers year-round attractions for visiting tourists, thanks to its natural and cultural character. Currently, the city attracts tourists mainly due to its thermal waters, but this village in Szigetköz is not lacking in cultural and historical attractions either.
The village located near the Slovak-Hungarian border is a well-known resting place for cyclists, thanks to its proximity to the EuroVelo 6 cycling route. The road to the village passes through Feketeerdő, which is an ideal spot to rest after a completed journey. We recommend the Kiserdei sétány (Path in Kiserdő) and the educational trail, as well as the under-construction dam to visiting guests.
This village borders Slovakia to the north and Austria to the west. Here, we reach the previously mentioned EuroVelo 6 cycling route and cross the Hungarian-Slovak border. Near the village, there is a sculpture museum commemorating the former Iron Curtain that marked the Three Borders.
The village closest to the Hungarian-Slovak border is known primarily for its natural (water) attractions. Nearby, there is an ornithological observation tower, and the "Čunovo Lakes," accessible by bicycle, provide a perfect environment for admiring the local birdlife and the stunning Danube nature. Culture lovers can visit the Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum, which is located just 5 km from Čunovo.
Once an independent village, it is now part of Bratislava, with its most famous symbol being the Zichy Castle and its park. The castle is in need of renovation, which the Slovak government and the city of Bratislava plan to carry out in the near future. Additionally, Rusovce features an outdoor exhibition called the Museum Ancient Gerulata, which showcases the Roman era. Near the exhibition, there is an educational trail that highlights the surrounding nature. A great opportunity to refresh oneself is offered by the Sankt Vitus Kaffe café, which has been established from the rebirth of a former church built in the Romanesque style.
The starting point, Mosonmagyaróvár, is accessible via the EuroVelo 6 cycling route, which passes through the villages of Čunovo, Rajka, and Bezenye.
